    jynx5616: Your spreadsheet is not going to be predictable, because you didn't take into account the rares that spawn with double durability and triple durability. Double durability means it was going to spawn as a unique item, triple means it would of spawned as a set item, but since that item doesnt exist, it spawns as a rare. So to find the true value of 20,000% mf you need to pick the rares up. If only this game has a unique and set item for each weapon.

    But yes, the MF gain really falls off the further you go, each additional % less effective than the last until it's basically flatlined.

    jebadaiah1228: Hm ithats an ideat but like you said, sample size doesnt give us an accurate view of this. if you were willing why not do 100 runs per sitting recording the data then publishing what it looks like at 1k

    I started a holy grain in S1, and only recently finished in whatever season is out now a month or two ago, its TOUGH and you gotta stay with it. happy to say Ive found every item in d2r though runes

    So as it seems (and have always been) - more killing speed = more items. Better chance is optional and it should not slow you down. Therefore - more then 200 is just not worth it.
    again, really good video. You dont need 1000 runs, because most people will never do 1000 runs. Normal playing today is 1-2 hours per day, so....

    As someonenwho has pkayed D2 for 20 years, it's always amusing to see people make a similar mistake with gold find, they try to get silly amounts of gold find like 600% etc. The game itself has caps on how much any individual monster can drop, and you hit that cap around 200% GF.
