1. Buy/find use wand with charges of decreipify, amplify, weaken, lower res or confuse they really help
2. Use Holy Bolt to heal your merc
3. Unpopular tip use Necro instead of a Paladin. He comes with curses and most importantly bone armor and bone prison
4. Learn how to deal with Unravellers, Succubi, black souls & skeleton archers because these are your true bane of existence
