Can You Beat Diablo 2 HARDCORE With Only Gear From Vendors?

That's already essentially how you play a ssf barb, just stand at the gambler for ages.

Other suggestions: use mind blast and cloak of shadow more often, use shock web on top of the traps (build is 20 to fire blast, shock web, charged bolt, lighting web, 1 death sentry, don't put any points in warrior nor master), use charged bolt on bosses, lower res wand on swap.
