    DeanWhipper: During the D2R beta I was very vocal about being disappointed that they were fixing these "bugs" that really had become unofficial features.
    To my surprise, there was a lot of people that were very vocal about it being a good thing, I thought it was so weird.
    Also some strange double standards going on when they enshrine bugs like Andy Quest loot, but purge this sort of stuff.

    But then again the Diablo community is very strange in general, I still regularly see people defending D3 and D4 being online only because "it stops cheating", cracks me up each and every time.

    Zorrky: I think bug armor could have been considered as a feature at that point. It was really hard to pull a perfect bug armor because... (you failed to mention) it only worked with normal, non superior items what have variable defense stat, instead of the superior counterpart what always have (max base def 1) as base def.

    I'm glad they fix the mana burn bug though. That was one of the worst oversight for any sorceress who wanted to use energy shield in hardcore.
    And i agree, they should have kept the "forbidden" skills on the items with max rolls as well because it didn't break the game balance anyway.

    Also... what they really should have done is to give Tyrael's Might 3 all skills and a lvl 10-15 Might Aura when equipped to be somewhere on par with the "big three" body armor runewords (CoH, Forty and obviously... Enigma)

    MikeyStreet314: I really enjoy this style of D2 content! Considering D2’s long history there’s so much to talk about especially reaching back to the dark ages (preLOD). Pskulls were currency until our second dupe opportunity was very successful and SOJ’s took over. When rare exceptional items were BIS ! I could tell ya all about how USeast ran back then haha. My crew made a major impact. Hell a few weeks after LOD released I had a WF.. in Classic! Haha didn’t last long unfortunately:(

    alexstef6965: forbidden skills on items is one of the stupidest things in d2. why is this needed? how unbalanced did they think it would be if an item had 3 holy shield or 3 whirlwind? Not as unbalanced as dual mosaic THAT'S FOR SURE!! ....
    derekcline950: I like how bugged items were balanced by being more rare, even if theyre only 50% more rare for ebugged Fortitudes (since 4os is 3/6 to hit)
    Thisisparadoxalstudios: Ebug added depth to crafting and wasn't really breaking the game thus should've been left in. Same thing with keeping quests items if you had them on your corpse. The main thing that made me quit D2R though is just storage issues. Having to buy another cd-key of the game to make one more account when you can't even do that on a single Blizzard account should NOT be a thing. Allow me to get/buy more storage tabs or bigger storage tabs like PoE does and I will finally quit classic D2. For now, I'll happily go back and log on my 15 accounts every 3 months to keep them alive until my IRL timer is out.
    SkillsBeyond: I genuinely miss ebug and str bug... I do not know why they decided to remove these things..
    They were like funny little min-max mini games that you could strive for as an endgame "activity"... and there were downsides with these bugs as well.. you couldn't guarantee the amount of sockets on the eth armour, so you could end up bricking your perfect stone base or whatever.. and the str bug was a huge pain to solve and took A LOT of effort and required fully geared characters..

    So it baffles me as to why they decide that these bugs were so critically destroying of the game that they had to be fixed..
    Meanwhile when D2R released they still hadn't fixed the mana siphon bug, monster dmg aura bug etc. which was waaay worse for the game and actually destroying some builds (ie. energy shield)

    But oh well... I wish they would just reimplement these fun bugged interactions ... it's actually one of the reasons why I don't play D2R as much... nothing to really strive for any more.. (I was a HUGE str bug and ebug fan)
    alexstef6965: also, as a software developer, listening again to the old "algorithm" that they used to decide skills on an item just makes me laugh. was this part of the game programmed by interns just out of college or what??
