PickleNick46: And this is my biggest problem with D2, and also the reason the player count is so low. There are only so many viable items and rune words to use. The majority of things you find are completely useless. Getting leveling gear or RWs only last for so long, sometimes less than a day

kaineandrews3790: I wish my Summon necro would do… anything like that. Usually mine is just standing around for 30-60 seconds, waiting for something to die and refreshing Amp. Damage. Then Corpse Explode… and wait another 20 seconds for something else to die, and so on, until I finally clear a single pack, usually with my Mercenary or Golem dead and half of my skeletons and revives also deceased. And boss fights are exceptionally slow and unpleasant, usually involve multiple TPs followed by running to the starter zone to get more minions and hope they don’t heal too much while I’m away, rinse, repeat. All while hoping I don’t get one-shotted by an explosion, a Cold Enchanted, or a random lightning blast or hydra that I couldn’t see and watching the AI trip all over itself to blockade every single doorway and ensure that things die even slower, since only one or two of them can hit the mob at the same time.

Don’t know what I’ve done wrong; I’ve looked at a ton of guides and my skill and attribute points are where they’re supposed to be. Trying to follow the rotation (when things actually die and allow it.) My gear isn’t great, but isn’t totally terrible (currently have Lore, Spirit, White, Trang’s belt, Magefist and a 2 skill rare amulet)… the problem is, between having terrible luck and exceptionally slow kill speed, I can’t get anything better. I’m level 87 on Hardcore (non-ladder, non-online, since my internet sucks and likes to drop randomly, and I had enough Hardcore losses in D3 from that to last a lifetime), already used up all three skill resets from Akara, and about to just give up on the game entirely.
