These DAGGERS are INSANE on Barb!! Diablo 2 Resurrected

420haxx: Fleshripper is one of the most criminally underappreciated weapons in D2. Also always a great call to proc fade from treachery before going in to fight the Ubers.
junkequation: I solo'ed Ubers on my barb for the first time yesterday. I used whirlwind. I swear it seems better than frenzy to me. Lifetap wand is also dead easy to get, has 105 charges or something, tons, and then it's so much easier to just weapon switch and cast it vs waiting for the dracs to proc.

With a physical sunder charm, even baals summons die to the whirlwind. You just need a lot of attack rating. I used the angelic ring and amulet along with a demon limb for enchant.
junkequation: Btw, so glad there's a d2 channel that focuses on by far the best class in the game. I will only play a sorc long enough to get my barb some decent gear, then nothing but barb after that.

Class seems highly underrated on every d2 forum. I don't know why that is. He needs gear, then he does almost everything the best. Teleport is the best skill, and every class gets it with enigma. Second best skill is find item, and only barb gets that.
bn357: I think prevent monster heal works against Dclone. But 100% doesn’t work on Ubers. I love fleshripper I rock one on a WW barb right now alongside an Oath in an eth balrog blade.
jonnycatland1987: They should have made it “Weapon mastery” where it applies to any weapon so barb can switch things up without respecting. Then all those missing skills could have been changed to better things. Also could you imagine if they had call of the ancients on D2 where you basically get 3 act 5 barbs all with different skills. Would be awesome
smalps-gaming: Correct, -target defense works at 50% vs bosses. Ignore target defense doesn’t work vs bosses.

MDR does apply to cold light fire and magic, not poison.

You can decrep bosses, but you can’t have both decrep and lifetap. For Fury, you don’t need LT at all. Decrep is best. -50% DR, and slows them way down. So they won’t do much dmg to you anyway.

Depends on if you apply decrep from you or the merc. Either way, it’s possible to do it both ways.

Id like to see Eth Archon Staff EBOTD on the Droid.

Barnewallian: My two favourite barbs are grief/azurewrath phaseblade and botd/death berserker axe. Both absolute monsters. Of course the latter will do better vs big bosses. Give it a go.

As for druid, reapers is no good, you need the life tap. There are lots of options. I've tried them all with the exception of eth tomb reaver (I actually found one, 3os and great ed... the very first reaver I found in D2R! Just need to produce a zod for it. It will be lo-zod-lo, can't wait).

Anyway, the best of them all is Death 2h axe. I made mine with a silver edge eth-5os-15?, but even a lowly decapitator will do. Champion is quick, decap is slow, glorious has range, silver edge good balance.

We are talking about at least 15k (per hit!) damage with fury, plus 50% crushing and deadly *on the weapon*. It also casts glacial spikes, which freeze entire mobs. 600 avg raw dmg easy. It used to be meh when druid needed weapon speed. Thankfully they fixed that and it's absolutely insane now. Oh I and almost forgot: 1 to light radius!
