    gorba4ef: I'd rather if you could cube 3 of them to reroll a torch so I don't have 9 druid torches from 15 runs.
    Edit: a temporary XP gained boost when "consumed" like some people mentioned is also nice and simple
    izeekio: I remember people back in the day saying Blizzard was going to make the standard of heros prevent experience loss on death starting at level 90.
    I like that idea, but have it disappear if you do die, so it becomes worth having more than 1 on hand. Not sure how to make that useful in hardcore mode though
    thegrimace1041: What if it was part of a crafting recipe that allows you to reroll the variable stats on a unique item?
    smalps-gaming: Id like to see 4x standard of heros in the cube with an item will give max sockets. This game needs a better way to get more sockets quests. Online you can rush a char so it’s doable, but its just annoying. If you have max characters, you cannot get any more sockets. And since you cannot even cube socket sup items, even more of a reason to have a way to farm sockets.

    Tyrael538: the chat suggestion about x2 density, i would prefer if it was more like using the standard of heroes makes the whole game and all areas into monster lvl the same as your character just like Tzones do.
    davidwhite533: Go in an entirely different direction: Tie standards of heroes to character classes like torches, and then you could use any item associated with that standard’s class. So a barbarian could use a necromancer head, a druid could use a sorcerer orb, etc. This could open the door for some really funky late-game variant builds.

    christopherstoner2059: It's a currency. It gives a random rune. Lower runes have a less chance, higher runes have a higher rate to reward the endgame grind. Makes for farming random mobs for runes and instead you can get a 2nd random currency with this. Because of the keys necessary it can't be farmed over and over.
    deaDParrot88: I think a better idea would to make it a one use to color coat an armor, helmet or weapon. Locking it to that item after use
