unicyclepeon: I think part of the issue may be that the council does lightning as part of their melee attack. I'm not actually sure about that. But I'm pretty sure they do lightning damage. So going all fire res may not work. I think maybe Thundergods with the Wips projector is helping a lot. Maybe 1 Dwarf plus Hotspur if you want. But if you go all fire absorb and res, you may be open to the lightning part of their melee strikes. If I'm not mistaken.
