Years of Diablo 2 runs WASTED... The Pitzerker Was NOT The Best MF Char!

HarryOsud: When comparing the two builds, I would go for Pit-Singer without doubt. I love killing minions in D2 for that sweet exp and they still have decent chance for good runes (especially in Pit).

ZeroThreeJuice: Damn that's a sick merc build, never would have considered 60ias jeweled armor. I've always run gface thresher on singer merc as it's honestly just the best option for him, you need as much damage from merc as you can without dropping insight... This is a really cool adjustment to deal with the stone skins faster, kind of jealous I never considered this myself as a singer enthousiast.

For online play I believe this is better for a few reasons: - you're finding more runes/bases which are valuable for trading, - much easier to acquire ed/ias jewels for the merc set up (I agree this is the 100% bis merc setup, nice work), - the elite pack locations are less predictable making warcry easier to play.

For SSF I believe it's not realistic because of the difficulty in finding ed/ias jewels. I have gone entire grails without finding one 30 ed/15ias jewel so very unlikely you'll find 5 decent ones making the stoneskins considerably slower to kill. I've tested with a SSF pitsinger setup with treachery on merc, it's just not possible to clear runs fast enough (especially if you're losing a couple seconds to buff with demon limb) and the extra minion/regular mob kills can't bridge the gap in efficiency unfortunately. And I do wish it was more efficient for a SSF speed grail because it's much easier to play!

My most efficient 50 pit run sample on SP for comparison is 761mf, 75% find item, 8.30 average packs, 49.0 seconds average run time. I believe this is the most efficient MF sample in the history of D2, very happy to be proven otherwise though!
