The artwork for rings is not tied to their stats.
Nagelring: Attacker Takes Damage of 3 will not work with ranged attacks.
Stone of Jordan: The increase in Mana is added with other items that increase the
maximum amount of Mana (another Stone of Jordan, Frostburn). For example two Stones of
Jordan (25% + 25%) and Frostburn (40%) would be 90% more Mana added to the base Mana.
Nature's Peace: "Slain Monsters Rest in Peace" means that the bodies can't be resurrected or they can't be used to
raise skeletons (Necromancer). They can't be used for Corpse Explosion either.
It will work only if you kill the enemy with a physical damage or elemental (Blizzard or Fireball) and not magical damage.
The ring will work for the Paladin's Blessed Hammer skill.
