Insight is a relatively practical runeword in D2R. It is obtained by inlaying "Ral" (Rune 8), "Tir" (Rune 3), "Tal" (Rune 7), and "Sol" (Rune 12) into a 4-hole base material in sequence. The base material can use polearms and staves. In version 2.4, bows and crossbows were newly added, allowing the bow mercenaries in the first act to use them, giving them the meditation aura that can only be opened by paladins at levels 12-17, providing huge gains to the protagonist, and the mana recovery rate can reach 575%-700%.
The characters suitable for using the insight runeword are relatively wide, and the following are common:
Act II mercenaries: can greatly improve the strength of mercenaries, especially the meditation aura can provide fast mana recovery and enhance their continuous combat capabilities.
In the normal level, the item level dropped by monsters of level 26-40 meets the requirements for punching out 4-hole long-handled weapon base materials, and most of these monsters are concentrated between act4-5. The item level of the normal cow level is 28, and all 4 holes can be punched out.
If the weapon does not have natural holes, you can also punch holes in the following two ways:
Complete the Razuk quest in Act 5 (kill Warlord Shank).
Use blocks to punch holes, the formula is: 8 Lal + 11 Am + Perfect Purple Gem + Ordinary Weapons, but this method has many restrictions. The items must be of ordinary level and have no holes. Poor quality and super strong items cannot be punched.
There is no fixed and unique choice for the choice of base materials, and different characters and players may have different preferences.
Please note that when embedding runes, you must follow the order of the runewords to avoid embedding errors. If you embed incorrectly, you can use No. 15 Hail + Town Teleport Scroll + the incorrectly embedded equipment to restore it to a brand new polearm without embedding.
