Last Wish is a very expensive runeword in D2R. The rune embedding order is: Jah (31#) + Mal (23#) + Jah (31#) + Sur (29#) + Jah (31#) + Ber (30#), and the base material must be a 6-slot sword, hammer or axe.
The properties of this Runeword are as follows:
6% chance to cast level 11 Energy Dissipation when hit;
10% chance to cast level 18 Life Steal when hit;
20% chance to cast level 20 Charged Bullet when hit;
Level 17 Strength Aura Grant;
+330 - 375% increased damage (variable);
Ignore target's defense;
60 - 70% chance to cause crushing blow (variable);
Prevent monsters from healing themselves;
Hit blinds target;
+(0.5 per character level)0.5 - 49.5% better chance to obtain magic equipment (determined by character level).
It should be noted that Last Wish is a new Runeword added in 1.10, and can only be crafted on Battle.net or in a standalone game with the relevant patch installed.
Last Wish is often used by Shield Bash Paladin (Shield Bash PAL) to K6 BOSS, because it has the life stealing property. However, although its attributes seem powerful, it actually has many shortcomings. For example, it lacks the attribute of increased attack speed (IAS), and the weapon itself does not have crushing blow (DS). The strength aura is repeated with the common strength mite, and the life stealing curse conflicts with aging. All these problems make this runeword difficult to compete with other high-level runewords with similar base materials (such as regret, death, etc.) in most combinations, and it is even inferior to the mid-range oath.
In terms of the choice of base material, since it does not have the indestructible and IAS attributes, and it is useless in PVP, the transmogrified blade is a relatively good choice. For two-handed weapons, you can use the Titan Blade. But if you just want to summon an iron demon and provide a strength aura, you can also find a 6-hole sword, axe, or hammer as the base material.
